Decorative Painting for Furniture with Shutesbury’s Becca Wheeler Bring a bag lunch, a primed piece of furniture (of reasonable size, please), any favorite colors in acrylic paints, any favorite brushes, and a drop cloth. If you have any visual aids or ideas of what you want to do, bring those too! Becca will bring her private supply of tools and paints for even more excitement. We will start setting up at 9am, take a break for lunch, and finish up by 4pm. The library will have directions on how to prepare and prime your piece of furniture ahead of time, so we can get right to the fun part. Fundamentals of Knitting with
Shutesbury's Shetland Trader, Come and learn some knitting basics from resident knitwear designer Gudrun Johnston. In this workshop we’ll cover casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, casting off and other useful knitting knowledge to get you started on your first project.
