The Executive Board meets on third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the library unless otherwise posted here.
Information About Friends of the Library
The purpose of the Friends of the M.N. Spear Library is to:

maintain an association of persons interested in libraries

stimulate the use of the library's resources and services
-
focus public attention on the library
-
support the American Library Association Bill of Rights
-
receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the M. N. Spear Library
Friends support library services. You can help by:

sending a donation
-
becoming a Friends board member and attending meetings
-
staffing a food sale
-
being an idea person
-
publicizing Friends events
Your donation to the Friends:

funds the library periodicals collection
-
helps fund the summer reading program and the summer party
-
supplements special collections like videos, audios and children's books
-
purchases big-ticket items not funded in the budget
